April Hawkins-Mason, our office manager, is a native Washingtonian, the third child of five children and the only girl of the group. April attended the famous Paul Lawrence Dunbar High in Washington DC where she graduated in 1986 with honors. After graduating from high school she went to work for Howard University, at the Howard University Service Center in their accounting office as a clerk.
April is currently a member on various housing boards, including the Columbia Heights Village Tenant Association, which she serves as President of, and the Change All Soul Housing Corporation and Development Corporation, where she serves as Vice President for both.
In addition to facing the dynamic needs of managing the day-to- day office operations of the Ford Law Firm, April is a dedicated and loving matriarch. Her son is currently attending the University of the District of Columbia, where he is studying Communications.
She is the first voice you will often hear when calling the Ford Law Firm, and likely the individual responsible for resolving many of the problems requiring solutions. April enjoys being in the mix of it all, and looks forward to the challenges that each new day in the legal profession brings.
