Attorney Yaida Ford secured a $400,000 settlement against Paul Public Charter School in a case against the school for grade tampering that led to the loss of elite college opportunities for one its student athletes. The student received offers from more than a dozen Division One schools but all schools withdrew their offers amidst allegations that the school had issued two different transcripts for the student–one showing that he passed all classes and one showing that he failed all classes. The student’s parent retained Ford Law Pros PC and after more than two years of litigation, the school settled on the eve of trial.
